Jávea is a pretty town fronted by the bright blue Mediterranean Sea with the dramatic Mount Montgó forming a backdrop to the town. Jávea is about a 10 minutes drive from Moraira and Dénia.

Javea’s Town Centre is situated two kilometres inland. The narrow streets of the historic old town are filled with wrought iron balconies and stone porticoes. The surrounding developments have been carefully controlled to ensure no high-rise concrete buildings impose on the serenity of the landscape.

Then there is Javea’s Harbor District, where visitors can visit the fish market and some stylish furniture shops.

Javea’s Arenal beach is a long, sandy stretch with safe bathing conditions and a promenade lined with exquisite seafood restaurants, boutiques and trendy bars.

For people who prefer something more secluded, there are a number of picturesque bays to be discovered, for example the Granadella cove.

Javea

The Cape of San Antonio is an authentic paradise for scuba divers as this Marine Reserve is restricted to boat traffic and offers a rich and untouched underwater landscape.

Most of Javea’s well kept residential areas offer a minimum plot size of 800m² for detached villas. They are usually not further than 3 kilometres from the sea.

Between the Harbor district and the Arenal beach, townhouses and 4-story apartment complexes are allowed.
